7:00pm - Meeting Begins
Treasurer's Report
-$10 membership fee is due December 6, 2005
-fee will increase to $15 for those who are late
December 20th will be the next meeting, as well as the Christmas
Party
-more information at a later date in regards to location, etc
Boxes of Hope
-possible project
-Rotaract event, may need volunteers to wrap christmas boxes
-boxes and soup will be handed out at the Dew Drop Inn on Dec
22
-donations of touques, mitts, and hygenic supplies would be
appreciated
Corey Pugleise's Benefit
-we have booked a room at the Davinci for Saturday, March 25,
2005
-possible $20-$25 ticket charge
-will have a penny auction, silent auction, sell braclets for $3
each
-mayor of Thunder Bay has volunteered to speak at the event
-possible Interact representative will speak
-Interact members will work the event
-all money will go towards Corey
Purple Pinky Project
-possible date: February 11-17, 2005
-Interactors and volunteers will visit schools between 9-12
-create a presentation for the schools, that will be introduced 2
weeks before the event
-there will be posters and announcements given to each of the 52
schools
-primary and secondary schools will be involved
-permission slips will be given out, with a date set to return them
with the money donations
-the dye will last 3-4 days
-each finger that is dyed will cost $1, which equals one polio
vaccination
-inquiring into the census of the catholic schools in Thunder
Bay
-posters are now being designed
