September 27, 2005 Minutes

Thank you to all those people who came out to our meeting!

• At the meeting on September 27th 2005 we talk about the following things:
• We went over some of the summer events such as: Relay for Life, Rotaract Leadership Camp Check it out at www.tbrotaract.com, as well as Rotary Ribs
• Our next few meetings will be on October 11th and 25th
• Tresurers Report- We also decided that we will be charging a minimum fee of 5 dollars to be a part of Interact (but more information about that to come)
• Some Funraising ideas and service projecs that we came up with were: Relay for Life once again, Easter Seals, Car Wash next spring possibly, as well as something for the Heart and stoke Foundation, Mothers Day event at a home for the aged. As well there were other ideas that were brought up but are being looked furthur into by some of our members!
• Our Major Eent for this year is a Book Drive where we are going to send old childrens story books to kids who are under privledged!
• Also we spoke about the rotaracts Events!! There are going to be doing their Fundraiser of Sand bag filling this year once again as well as they will be planning the Rotary Christmas party (which interact will be helping out at) and we will also be helping out with the Christmas Parade!! Whatch those e-mails for more information!
• As well we told everyone that at meetings wel will be taking attendance and we will be expecting you at 60% of the meetings! So come on out!
